The summer months along the shores of the Baltic Sea are busy with vacationers, as the best time to visit. The period between May and October is the warmest by far while springtime is also a good time to come to Lithuania as the air is fresher and the new flowers are in bloom.

The roads all around this region are decent though not entirely well maintained. The main highways that connect the cities are fine, but there are also side roads that are still used mainly by the farming community.
